In the 70’s Lafayette population was about a third of today, we had about 10K students. Regardless we regularly had 7-9K in Blackham. Just guessing basketball isn’t as popular, games much higher in cost to attend even in inflated dollars. In other words much more family friendly. And finally three networks for entertainment, no Atari, game boy, X Box and such.

Maybe he should invite a Cajun Dome big shot to explain ridiculous pricing for families. They're repressing their revenue streams. Many more would come, and spend much more for about the same costs.
