Agreed. Moving the game was easily best for the team before trip to UTA... for multiple reasons.

Speaking of doubleheaders, what does weather look like this weekend in Arlington? Doubleheader Saturday? With additional game Friday or Sunday?

Well I did want to drink beer and watch baseball at the Tigue last night. I settled for watching Boston v. New York from my couch. I'll live.

Ha, I know, we ended up a Legends watching Boston/NY and the Kentucky/Mercer game. Just think, all of the brick work should be done on the outside of the Tigue. The inside is coming along nicely.

Weather does not look good for Saturday, so more than likely doubleheader on Sunday. Possible 11 AM start on Sunday to play two or play two on Friday, with one on Sunday. The only reason I say the second option is because exams start on Monday for us and I am sure they want to get back early. On the flip side they may want to take the chance on the weather on Saturday before scheduling doubleheader on Friday. Who knows right now, but I am sure all options are open.

Same here. While from a selfish point I was disappointed, I think overall this will be to our advantage. And I foresee no issue with attendance for any of our remaining games.

Arlington weather as per accuweather.

Friday: 60% rain but it looks like the higher percentages start about 8pm and go on to about 10pm

Saturday: 65% rain ranging from 43% at 2pm to 5pm and continuing the rest of the day. It's slightly lower between 11am and 2pm.

Sunday: 11% rain but shows less than 7% from 9am through the rest of the day.
