It's a great thing it was cancelled if only to get Burk back. Colten could have done the job, but Jack has been very good lately. The only downside is that you had some nice momentum from last night. They'll just have to get that by beating LATUR next week.

That's what I'm most ticked off about! It was going to be an absolutely huge crowd tonight and everyone in town knew we were coming off a beat down of UT and a 9 game win streak. Now you place it on May 10th, sanwhiched between 4 other home games and LaTech the night before? We already had plenty of games that week at home. Fans have been itching to get back to the park with all these away games. I think we screwed the pooch on this one. Bullpen strategies notwithstanding.

May the 10th is not guaranteed. Play them when they are scheduled and not pick the days when you think the pitchers are ready. Not a drop of rain fell nor lightning strike, and it's still not raining. That's my opining just like many say it was great to cancel it.......

Yes and if McNeese gets on the bus to come here and it storms and the game is cancelled, it guarantees the game will not be played. There is no guarantees with the weather. Our second back to back weeks with 5 games and before that the trip from hell. This game being canceled is the best thing that could happen for the team. We have ever pitcher available for this weekend, with a possible doubleheader. We need all hands on deck. Sorry if it inconvenienced some of you.

Well I did want to drink beer and watch baseball at the Tigue last night. I settled for watching Boston v. New York from my couch. I'll live.
