Thus far, it appears he may not be wrong.

Maybe this new OC can get the best out of Davis' skill set.. it's really our only hope.

Yep. That's usually when tell someone that. When you know they are right but you'd rather not admit it.

Maybe he can hide in a little green ticket booth or behind a blue tarp. Both are in some remote place in North Louisiana where nobody goes.

Ruston, Louisiana, where "arf, arf" means "get me some water you inbred, dimwit, jack-o-lantern mug, sheep humpin' redneck".

I'm not buying it, we are in the same situation as last year, JD may be a good guy, but I haven't seen where he can take this team anywhere. It's going to be brutal.

Correect. He probably has the best physical tools we have had at QB in Huds tenure here. But he has not shown the ability to put a team on his shoulders and carry it through a 12 game schedule.

I think part of that is what is between his shoulders. Every time Davis has any playing time, our offense which is already vanilla goes to pee-wee football playbook. I'm starting to doubt is ability to learn the scheme.

Gosh, we already run the Evangel HS offense. Up the middle, sweep, bubble screen, all left and right and a rare pass longer than 10 yards. Evangel ran 7 base plays and use to beat everyone with them.

Oh, I forgot, qb sack. We run that one a lot.
