    Irony...

Dude was PASSING GAME Coordinator at Starkville, and it will be his inability to understand the need for a passing game and how to get one that will be his end here.

IMO when you have a running game coordinator and passing game coordinator then the HC is calling the plays. The other two guys are there to recruit.

Someone that is going to fail due to the HC not utilizing the options that he has instead of what he wants........

F....it Run him up the middle. Seems to work.....

  5. UL Football Hudspeth thinks QB Davis 'can lead our team'

The UL football team will open spring practice this week, and when it does Jordan Davis will have the inside track on claiming the Ragin' Cajuns No. 1 quarterback job.

Coach Hudspeth has a lot riding on whether Davis can navigate the 2017 schedule.

I THINK WE ALL HAVE ALOT RIDING ON DAVIS!

    Lead them where?

Hud had Ray backing up not Davis. I'm guessing that didn't prove satisfactory.

Who really knows at this point what Hud has in his mind. For all we know...he could have signed Air Bud to be our next QB. The national recognition from having a Golden Retriever at QB...and the movie rights that are sure to come along with it thanks to Disney...brighter days ahead.

At this point, he has no other choice. He can't find a QB out there, and he can't develop one. The end is near for HUD. All of the previous coach players are now gone. He has no where to hide now.

Yet Arkansas St. and other schools in our conference constantly put out decent QB's.

Ark St and other teams in the conference do not have a QB killer for a coach like UL does.
