Not a coach, seems like this team is only prepared to pitch. Everything else they have to get better on the field.

That was a read play, not a called steal. Baserunner is taught to read the down angle of the ball, if they read that it is going to be in the dirt they take off with anticipation that the ball is going to get away from the catcher.

If true, that's terrible.
