Some aspects got sorted out a bit throughout last season, but they would still rear their ugly head at times. This is the story of our last 3-4 seasons (2014 may be the exception, but that opening loss to Eastern Illinois was ugly).

That was a read play, not a called steal. Baserunner is taught to read the down angle of the ball, if they read that it is going to be in the dirt they take off with anticipation that the ball is going to get away from the catcher.
