Yeah, totally understandable. Space down the lines is at a premium especially when it comes to additional facilities

Keeping in mind how land-locked we are there, the other day I was looking at the area in Google Earth: What I think would be great is if they could move Cajun Courts to across from the Tigue/behind Cajun Field, along Reinhardt....kind of right around where that maintenance building is. That would free up the area where the courts are now for the new field house, and would also solve the issue with the courts blocking extension of the bleacher section.

Too bad costs would probably prohibit that. But we should get Harris & Maggard working on it, lol.

After thinking about the layout of the complex once the Cox Center is removed and the plaza is completed, I could see a parking issue with a clubhouse down the left field line as the plaza will have very limited parking. The first base line location would front Reinhardt and all of the associated parking. I was thinking a roof deck on a 2-3 story building in that area would actually be pretty cool and could be another location for lease for baseball, football tailgating, and Mardi Gras. JMO

I didn't realize the concourse at the top of the seating area would be configured like that. They still have to pour it obviously, but that's definitely something you can't see in the renderings:

Looking at the photo of the old stadium gives me the impression it was a dump. Just sayin. Any degree of completion for the first game should be an improvement over the old stadium. There should be ZERO complaints after the first game. ZERO.

What I think would be better would be if the university could purchase the piece of land just across the neighborhood fence behind the current match tennis courts. You could move tennis there, but you'd still have the issue with parking.

If Intramurals are moving to the new fields then put Tennis across from Bourgeois Hall where the old flag football fields are...parking at Bourgeois/Lamson and the print shop.
