I don't know why this is such a big deal. The way it is now, if you paid for chairbacks, then you will be able to sit in the grandstand chairbacks, just not an assigned seat there. People with regular bleacher tickets will not be able to sit in the grandstand, same as normal. So it's not like all 4500 people will be trying to sit in the grandstands come first pitch. It is GA by seat type/area, not full open GA.
Think of the time before reseating simply as a trial period if you're in the grandstand. You'll be able to see how you like different areas then request those areas when the time comes, sooner or later
I haven't been told anything but have no reason to believe they would stray from the original plan so I would expect reseating to occur towards end of March.
Keep in mind 100% complete includes a lot. Much of which the average fan may not even notice.
This place will be much better than the old Tigue the first day we walk in and will only get better after that.
"Will be a lot left to accomplish after the 3rd and probably won't see it 100% complete until close to the end of the season."
That's what I was figuring. Just hope everybody understands that.
Maybe this has been addressed already. Can anyone tell how far out the grandstand roof extends? Looks like the first few rows are not covered?
Can somebody straighten me out, please? I was told the grandstands will be open and fans seated opening weekend. Prior, I read the grandstands are not projected to open until late in the season, with only bleachers usable until May.
