Can somebody straighten me out, please? I was told the grandstands will be open and fans seated opening weekend. Prior, I read the grandstands are not projected to open until late in the season, with only bleachers usable until May.

As mentioned by Cajun90 in his update yesterday, the grandstand seating will have to be open first pitch. The full stadium/reseating/suites will not likely be complete until late season (though they may do permanent reseating earlier)

Thank you. I don't know the bleacher seating capacity, but it's obviously not enough.

Look, it will be a night mare on March 3 for seating. If I were to guess, the Grand Stands will not be ready for seating. So forget about sitting there. I have. Will get there early to get a seat in the bleachers. Don't think they will have temporary bleachers in the outfield. If they were they would be setting them up now are getting ready. They have one month left before the first home game and they have a lot of cement to pour and chair backs to get in place. I took them three weeks to put the chair backs a Lamson park. Let's hope I can delete this post for being wrong.

Reading it seems that I am the only one that is not to optimistic about it being ready for seating. But if it turns out that fans will be sitting in the grand stand on March 3rd at general admission, great. I will be the first to admit I was way off base on this....Around the Feb. 20th it will all be answered.

We are optimistic because it seems that Cajun90 spoke to someone in the know and got a fairly detailed update on the status, which he posted yesterday. It's not just wild speculation

How will the players get to the dugout? I guess through the space between the new grandstand and the bleachers.

It would be nice to dig out a pathway from the back of the dugout under the bleachers directly into the locker room, like you see in MLB ballparks.

There will be plenty of room to access the dugouts. Really won't be different than before since that area hasn't really been touched.
