The Alex Box roof is designed a bit differently. I wonder if, structurally, that allows for a longer roof.

I know is we requested the longest cantilevered roof that we could get (within certain parameters I'd imagine). You probably could change the design of the overall stadium to make it somewhat longer but I don't know that for sure. Or maybe the cost would've gone up significantly for just a slightly longer roof.

When you cantilever like that the static and dynamic stresses are multiplied the further out you extend. Think of it like a see-saw.

There comes a point where going any further requires larger and/or more structural beams and foundational support for the whole system. That effects a lot of things and will cost a lot of money so you hit a kind of breaking point where going any further becomes a major multiplier. Twenty feet of roof cantilever might cost you X but adding just one more foot to 10 more feet might cost you 2.0X.

It does seem like they use tension cables for Alex Box (more obvious on renderings). I'd imagine that's another cost increase but is also another option to possible extend further

There are actually two elevator shafts being build but only one will have an elevator to start out. I believe the operational one will be on the 3rd base side, but I could be wrong.

What is your confidence level as of now for completion by the target date?

They have a lot to do. The stadium will have the MINIMUM to support life safety and health issues when they open it up for the first games of the season. DO NOT EXPECT A FINISHED PRODUCT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON.
