There has been a lot of that in the past and it goes with the territory. But is has also been the case with several athletes recently from this area that signed elsewhere, our staff stated they were not good enough and we didn't offer them. In both cases, it wasn't true.

Whoever set this up would know that Cajuns would go to New Orleans Bowl if went to any bowl but scheduled the same day. I don't know what the rules are about high school kids attending bowls as guests of colleges but it would be nice if they had better opportunity to see local university play in a bowl.
I don't see any reason for that game. If I were a commit with a scholarship offer no way would I risk injury for this meaningless game.
My comment was in general if your committed and never sign anything and have a major injury you are left with nothing. But was thinking Elijah Mitchell when I made the comment. Kids take a huge risk and put a free paid college education on the line when they play in these meaningless games.
Speaking of STM kids ULM has a true freshman QB from there. As I recall the STM starter was Bellamy last year. Has ULM gone so low they recruit back up 4A QBs?
