I don't know for sure what the real story is, though there's a couple things I've heard that unfortunately seem to make sense.

All I know is the attitude was like that when I was at STM twenty semi years ago, and it really hasn't changed.

Who was the last STM scholarship player we signed? Grant Fleming in 2007? With that program as good as it is we haven't had a scholarship player come here in 10 years?

besides attitude of local coaches toward football program, if the kid has any ties to local boosters and doesn't play as much as they think he should, somebody supporting the program gets ticked off.
