Tulane shows sections 115 & 116 as visitors seats. Anyone have those? UL even given any of those?

Had trouble with this today. UL had til last Friday to sell their allotment then has to ship the rest back to Tulane. However Tulane hasn't received the tickets yet through the mail so they weren't available to purchase today. But the UL guy told me Tulane should have them Wednesday or Thursday at the latest to purchase through Tulane. Sections 115-118 are for UL

Pretty sad that we didn't sell out our allotment for a road game at Tulane. Pretty sad.

I bought some from the Tulane website in Section 118 without trouble. Granted those are likely close to the Tulane folks but I know UL fans who have Section 118 tickets.

A big part of it has to do with the price of hotel rooms. Beyoncé and Saints Falcons have put rooms at a premium. A lot of fans have been spoiled by NOLA bowl weekend when there is no demand. This is one reason why I think attendance at the Miss St game will be hurt by Southern Decadence.

Interesting that the Tulane Athletics Page has the game advertised as "Tulane vs. Louisiana."
I thought THEY were one of those who resented our reference to "Louisiana."
(They initially claimed that THEY had the rights to "UofL" in that their official title is "The Tulane University of Louisiana.")

Just did a quick search and most rooms for just Saturday night are between $300-$400 for a decent place. Just a a reference the Best Western on St. Charles right next to Superior Grill (perfect uptown location for a Tulane game) is $310.
