No, which is why they need to pass with him in there as well. He's an adequate passer, certainly in the wildcat formation when most teams will think he's coming in to run. A nice playaction roll out or bootleg would do wonders here and help keep teams off balance and he'd get a lot of single coverage looks to throw to.

It just don't add up to me, you take out your best runner and your best passer and put in one guy who is possibly your second best passer and 3rd or fourth best runner.

I can't understand after the first couple series how you felt so comfortable about our chances. They were moving the ball at will in both the run and pass and we were showing our same stagnant selves.

Because we had such a clear physical advantage that by the 2nd half it should have been over. But we kept giving them extra opportunities through penalties.

It was 15-14 after the first drive in the second half. Physical advantage means nothing when you turnover the ball.
