Excuse my ignorance here, but how long does it take to build an athletic program at a new high school. Is this possible for the first year?

I don't know if it's the same for new schools but a lot of times, LHSAA has a 2-year transitional phase for new teams.

The first build out for the school is for freshmen and sophomores next year. Construction for the junior/senior portion of the building will follow.
