I never said that you said this was a good basketball season. I want you to convince me that it is. And no... I do not attribute things to you that you do not post. I may misread your gibberish... but I'm sure I'm not alone.

Why are you jumping into YHWH's post battles and attacking the "Eauxers". Many Eauxers know you... and that is why they clown with you so much. You write too many nonsensical things. You are just too damn easy to pick on.

    Merry Christmas Boomer!

I don't need to provide facts to make an obvious observation. The team is underachieving. Maybe not to you and Boomer (big shocker), but to those of us that watch and attend, pretty easy to see.

You want facts? Look at Marlin's D1 coaching record. There are no others stats or facts or whatever the hell excuse you want to post here that matter. I've supported the man, but no longer. We're in a rut as a program. Six years of excuses.

Btw, nice attempt at smartassness. Linking to comments I made years ago actually reinforce where the program truly is. So thanks.
    (A) You still have to be invited to play. But whatever.
    (B) I do watch and attend, I just happen to have a different opinion.
    (C) If you really think we are in a rut as a program, fine, but over the last 6 years, we have had post-season play, one of which involved the Big Dance. That's a heck of a lot better than where we were.
    (D) I consider my smartassedness or smartassness (whichever way you want to spell it) one of my most treasured qualities, though I don't often break it out. But my point is that you were saying the same stuff a year ago, and something tells me nothing will make you happy. If last year was as bad as the death penalty years, then I happen to place little value in your perspective.

I do remember the games where I showed up to watch a team that was miserably worse than where it is now, and I felt like I was doing time in Purgatory for it.

The current team has not found its groove, clearly. But it may yet. And let me be fair, it may not.

But to simply say, "nope, that's it, I'm done" with one conference game in the books is a bit premature. Female-dog all you want, but Marlin is the coach for this year. Why don't you judge this year at a time when we all have a better perspective on where we stand?

    That's all I'm asking.

    Fokker. Out.

    "Female dog all you want"

I laughed, not gunna lie. I may use that in future debates. So, apologies in advance.

I'll say that after that particular game (the comment that you're referencing) I was furious. And obviously, over-sensationalized a bit.

I'll be happy when the games are fun again.

You know, Boomer and a few others like to complain about our complaining; but never come back and give credit where its due when we're accurate on our complaining. Some believe the Eauque is full of pessimists. I prefer visionaries.

---Well OK lets start with accuracy---I am waiting for those but I remember some subjects like not going to the INDY Bowl causes we didn't talk to them----Not wanting to take the 2 post season tourneys in basketball---FB Coaches not getting a bonus---All facilities complaining---and anything that any of the afore mentioned names are in contact with on here!!! The problem with just about all of these is the rush to judgement before the facts are in and the hate wanting these people to be wrong--And the Eauxers accuracy includes???

I have no freaking clue what you're trying to say.

If the rush to judgement is proven right, how "rushed" was it? It takes some longer than others to realize there are problems a lot of times. And if you're asking about accuracy, we can go back to as recently as the QB fiasco. We were saying in SPRING DRILLS Hudspeth needed to pick a QB before it turned into a problem.

And guess what Boomer.. It indeed turned into a huge problem.

There are many, many, many more examples.

On this, you and I can agree. On days when we play well, it can be fun. When we don't, it's not. At least for me, I'm having much more fun now than, say, the Robert Lee era.

    Anyhow, Merry Christmas to all.

    Keep the Yul in Yuletide!

Why don't you take out the 15 non D1 games he has won.

    Oh... Well, in that case....

    ...subtract 5....
    .....carry the 1....

Yup, still just 0-1 in Conference.

    SMDH...

Why even play any OOC games if it's all about Sun Belt play?
