(C) If you really think we are in a rut as a program, fine, but over the last 6 years, we have had post-season play, one of which involved the Big Dance. That's a heck of a lot better than where we were.
(D) I consider my smartassedness or smartassness (whichever way you want to spell it) one of my most treasured qualities, though I don't often break it out. But my point is that you were saying the same stuff a year ago, and something tells me nothing will make you happy. If last year was as bad as the death penalty years, then I happen to place little value in your perspective.
I do remember the games where I showed up to watch a team that was miserably worse than where it is now, and I felt like I was doing time in Purgatory for it.
The current team has not found its groove, clearly. But it may yet. And let me be fair, it may not.
But to simply say, "nope, that's it, I'm done" with one conference game in the books is a bit premature. Female-dog all you want, but Marlin is the coach for this year. Why don't you judge this year at a time when we all have a better perspective on where we stand?
That's all I'm asking.
Fokker. Out.
