Agreed!
The fact that people are on this thread & at this website shows that we still believe.
I had us picked as a 2-1 start and can't believe the past couple of unpredictable weeks. Just like last year's 3-2 start and then taking a nose dive. Hell, we all think that Troy will roll next week........just watch the Cajuns pull out a "W". You never know....
I've gotten used to this being a Saints fan and being around for the Baldwin era. As bad as it is, we've got 9 games left. Some way, some how, something may click and we'll go on a little winning streak somewhere in there. It's happened before with Bustle, I'm really hoping for everybody's sake it can happen again.
It seemed like they were VERY lothargic tonight and in the 2nd half of last week's game. All week I was looking for articles about "The Cajuns are ready for the Cowboys" and couldn't find anything. Mcneese was jacked for this game and we weren't. They were the better team tonight and we got outcoached.
If anyone expects any fans to be at the next game they are fooling them selves. I will be at all of the games but if they could play more like crap, they were hiding something. I was calling plays from the endzone, and they were right, ahhhhhh!!!!!!!
Are they retarded or what?? Also, well done McNeese, they won the game so I can't talk smack. Period.
Yeah, I agree that it certainly doesn't look good. But like it or not, we're in this boat for the rest of the season. As hopeless as it might seem, some small part of me has to hope against hope that something good happens. Just who I am.
And I'm definitely not minimizing it. What happened was embarrassing. But McNeese isn't exactly a scrub AA team. Ranked 10th in that division I believe. But we killed ourselves with turnovers, and they used those turnovers to kill us. They came out after halftime and just physically beat up on us, and that more than the loss is what is so demoralizing about it.
VT turns up the heat in the 2nd half after the Ohio defense was worn down, although they looked pretty good in the first half. I was at the game today. Yep, I am a Cajun alumnus living in Virginia. Lane stadium in Blacksburg is a blast. How can you not like any team entering the stadium to Metallica's "Enter Sandman" as the entire stadium does the Blacksburg Bounce! Wow, quite a scene! I sure wish the UL football program would turn the corner like VT did back in the early Beamer days. They have been in a rut for what seems like a lifetime! Tonight's McNeese game sounds like a big downer! Geesh!
Geaux Cajuns and Hokies!
I still believe.... and I always will
Its simple, McNeese was simply better prepared to play tonight, UL was not. Regardless of what happened I will still be there supporting UL because true fans suffer through the bad I am 26 and most of it has been tough to handle. For all of you that want to give up and go fishin' or whatever you want to next week. Go for it, but DON'T COME BACK.
I really hate fairweather fans, go away, just like you do during every game that we are down. Stay away, you are no help to the program.
It was way too quite during the game from the UL fans. Period. We have no tradition, and aparently McNeese has much much more and loyal fans. My hats off to them, they did dominate and they deserved to win
Also, be happy because they would have scored on the last drive if they wished to.
Tighten up Cajuns, get collected and move on.
Shawn
Why in the world with only the 3rd largest crowd in history, would the morons stop selling tickets?!
My brother was turned away!? And we were about 4000 people short of the attendance record! How many people were turned away?!
