Fair enough bigspanky but many have no idea how really bad VT was 15-20 years ago between 1987-1992 all they know is how VT turned the corner and what they are now.
We were busy "losing" to those two teams. When are we going to quit making excuses. SC didn't have several starters and were on cruise control. Ohio isn't exactly a world beater. Look what VT did to them this weekend and we know VT is struggling.
This program is not improving. Bustle and his coaches apparently have no clue as to how to make adjustments either during the game or at halftime.
I loved the atmosphere we had last night. 30,000 - 35,000 is the right number for me. I like the convience of Cajun Field. We tailgate, 100 yards from the field in grass. After the festivities are done, we can be home in 30 minutes.
With success & these types of large crowds, many things need to be better organized to handle the large crowds. I will start with concessions and let you add to the list.
Either way, if we have 10,000 or 35,000 in the stands, I will be one of them. I have 4 more home games and a road trip to MT to enjoy watching Cajun Football this year. After that, I will renew my season tickets and wait until next year for more.
Lot of good that did. Bustle and his staff need to slap some helmets and wake these guys up that are having their education paid as they do little or nothing to earn it. He needs to bench players when their performances are sub par such as Desormeaux's was Sat. night.
Why didn't Hundley at least get a chance. When your QB is carrying the ball over 20 times, there's something wrong with your offense. Especially when Wallace carried it twice. Give me a break.
If the hearsay is true, this comes at a bad time. Now we will be left with 2 QBs on the team. I would hate to have to lose a red-shirt QB due to something like this. With the bad luck we seem to have, that is a possibliltiy. Desormeaux is a running QB who takes big hits multiple times during the game. Morel plays on all special teams. You never know what will happen on special teams.
