I can't believe this. Totally deflated. No excuses on this one.
Absolutely heartbreaking. I hope we don't get embarrassed net week. Could be a season-crusher; I hope the guys rebound quickly.

I don't care what yall say, but that was a horrible call to go for it on 4th and 7 with 10 min. to go. We could have pin them back in the 10. Unbelievable. I was shaking my head. Horrible call. We should have punted that ball.
This was a very hard loss for the team, hopefully we can bounce back. We had this one and we got to confident in the end. Bustle should have known better than that.
Ohio was a very good...and well coached team! Disappointed about the loss, had the bobcats gasping for air...I think I even seen a couple of their players toss up the contents of their tummies. Can't explain this one...Offense looked good...DB's need to be shuffled to find some playmakers....or we will be seeing this type 3rd and long...by the grace of God...passes completed against us all season long!![]()
This team came out flat in the 2nd half, they had no fire in them. We did not do a good job of adjusting to what Ohio was giving us. A few points here:
- The secondary has to improve. We gave up too many plays.
- Can we cover the Ohio tight ends? They were wide open.
- Speaking of tight ends, where are ours and why don't we throw to them?
- Too many false start penalties on the O-Line.
- This team came out flat in the 2nd half and was playing to maintain a lead not to add points, where was the leadership?
- Desormeaux proved he could throw, however we did miss opportunitis to throw in the flats tonight.
I don't know about the "same ole Cajuns," this team has something...just got to get the kink's out! Don't forget...new coaching on board, followed by tweeks to the past system. If we can get our DB's in order, everything will be fine. Please don't take away from Ohio...they played a good game. It's been a while since the Cajuns have played two teams of the caliber of what we just seen back to back! It's NOT the time to jump ship.![]()
We didn't do much rotating at all. I know there were sme injuries in the secondary, so maybe that is it. We give teams a bit of a cushion when we play them due to what I perceive as a lack of speed in the secondary. So teams will take what we give them. What i noticed tonight was we didn't cover the tight end, and Ohio exploited that.
The defense looked tired in the 4th as they gave up five yards on on runs on 1st down and from there Ohio put themselves in favorable positions on 3rd down. I thought at that point we needed some fresh legs.
