Rather than a hand off up the middle on 3rd and 6 when you're averaging 2 yards a rush??

I still don't hear any solutions...or "want" to change anything. He wants it one way and will fight tooth and nail to get it there. I don't understand how a coach, whose entire reason for being is to win football games being so against making the team better.

    It's funny.

You would swear we hired Mike Sewak, not Mark Hudspeth.

If Hud is a disciple of the running QB, then he needs to stop the fan dance, quit trying to run the Florida State offense with non-Florida State players, fire Jay Johnson, and go hire the OC at Georgia Southern and get this over with.

In fact, I would support him if he did this.

This kabuki theater we do with our offense has reached it's destination. We have no identity on offense.

    Get a clue coach.

But he is not running a triple option like Ga Southern. He is running a power run game for the most part. It works with a great line, a big power back, an accurate quarterback and good receivers. What we have now is none of those. He put Nixon in a bad position last week, Hud did, by catering to his weakness the forward pass instead of the spread option with emphasis on the run. If you're going to put Nixon in make sure you cater to his strengths.

It seems he wants to prove Nixon can pass well even to the point of losing games.

Dont know what film Hud is watching. When I watch the game and when Nixon is in the game, the ball is handed off on almost every play unless its a designed QB draw. Nixon does not know how to run the read option.

Yes, we all agree that Nixon is a better runner than Haack. From what I have seen, Haack can read the outside D-lineman and he can run the read option better than Nixon.

I was telling a buddy this last night at the basketball game. Haack actually runs the read better, just isn't as explosive running.

As C4ME reported, Brooks Haack is averaging the same number of yards per carry as....Terrance Broadway last year.

    Playing Nixon will solve nothing.

The only answer to unlocking the hold the defenses have on us is to DEVELOP A PASSING GAME.

Following the model of last season. Haack is TB. Eli is Eli. The part some people want to blissfully ignore is Nixon is Harris.

That's about as useful as Nixon reading his receivers better.

I'm good with playing both, Haack is starting play Nixon in situations that's fine all I really care about at this point is six victories. Heck play Otha Peters at QB I don't care just win baby win. We are all going to have high blood pressure trying to figure out this coaching staff just win and lets be happy.

Haack can't run like Broadway. Don't fool yourself. He is a much better passer however.
