It is pretty cool but Chris Paul owns that training center

    Default Elfrid's in Scott's doghouse

Magic won tonight, but Elfrid only played 15 minutes. Was not in the game anywhere near the end. Last game either.

How'd he get into Scott's doghouse?

Do we know that for sure? IIRC, Elfrid sat out a few game during pre-season due to some leg issue.

Well, he started yesterday and didn't finish. He started today and didn't finish.

He could be hurt, but it looks like he's getting benched. Wouldn't be surprised if Napier or Watson starts tomorrow.

About 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter:

Elfrid has been sucking pretty bad. I have been disappointed

    Sophomore slump.

He needs to just keep playing Defense, and the rest will come. When you struggle, you have to play to your strengths.
Unfortunately, a new coach brings new expectations and will mold the team how he wants. Sometimes that leaves a player outside looking in. Elfrid works to hard to not succeed imo. He will conform and make it work.

I think he just needs to be more aggressive. I've been watching the Magic play and he just seems to defer too much. That and the offense they run doesn't take advantage of his capabilities. He has all the other tools he just needs to develop his jump shot and finish better when he attacks the basket.

I haven't watched him that much but it still seems like he's an incomplete player. They will give him plenty of time to develop but as the years go on he's going to have to start putting it all together and producing. As a PG he won't stay in the NBA if he can't nail down a decent jump shot.

Even if he doesn't stay in the NBA there's no doubt he's going to have a long, successful pro basketball career that any of us would give our left testicle for. I'm really happy for him and proud of what he has accomplished so far.

What worries most about his play this year is that he isn't showing the same effort he did last year
