Was just coming to post that he had a good game shooting the ball.
20 points on 8/10 and 4/4 from line. Not bad at all

Clearly shook whatever that was off tonight. I know it was the 76ers, but he was poised and started pulling up for that jumper instead of flailing wildly into the lane and turning it over.

Dude hit 80% of his shots tonight.

Yeah. Elfrid shot 80%. I know, right?

And he hasn't missed a free throw yet, I believe. 4/4 tonight.

Don't ship him off to Europe just yet.

.5 out of a playoff spot.

What people are gonna have to realize is that EP is not a pg like Rose or Westbrook or Irving who will put up between 20-30 points per game. But he will give you 10 assists, 8+ rebounds, and about 10 ppg. Last year he flirted with a triple double almost every game. That's he kind of player he is. He's a defensive nightmare and at 6'4 he's a matchup problem for most pg's and he can cover shooting guards and even hold up against the 3 guards. He'll also be a guy that plays all 82 games for you barring any freak injury. I'd love to have him on my team (Pelicans) because we can't keep a single damn player healthy.

----The book on EP---agree with all---but have always wondered about the skill of shooting and why some do it so freaking well and others seem to struggle to no end except their career!!! Wonder if EP's eyesight could be the problem as in the past he has had contacts and eye exams!!!

I know EP had some mechanic issues when shooting the ball. Could still be an issue. But I hear ya on the shooting thing. Some people can shoot the lights out and others struggle to hit the cylinder. I don't really get it either lol

He looked pretty smooth and confident shooting in Philly Saturday. If dude shoots like that consistently, he's going to be an all-star.

Jason Kidd and Tony Parker started off as a poor shooters and developed into a good ones. I think EP can do the same.

How'd he get into Scott's doghouse?
Don't think he did necessarily. They've been playing a very small lineup lately but they have been having to adjust depending on competition. Gordon played really well and Fournier has been on fire lately so he has to have time at the 2. Oladipo is not going to give way to Payton in normal situations so he was just limited based on the opponent and how well their other two guards have been playing......I think. Plus, he's still not shooting the outside shot all that well which hurts his effectiveness.
