As a matter of fact the school makes a good point in their response. If the ACT organization couldn't identify this and the NCAA couldn't identify this then how the heck were we suppose to recognize this?? Especially since the school isn't privy to all previous test results.

Matters not though since we are talking a number of Level 1 allegations which have been admitted too.
I was talking about the mentality of the NCAA when it comes to "lack of institutional control". It is sort of the "catch call regulation" by the NCAA.

It depends on how officials in charge of compliance at the university are doing their job, what rules are in place, and if the rules are properly enforced by those in charge.

I clarified my comments in the original post.

I'm kind of curious about the costs to the university to fight/cooperate with this.

I hate this preemptive vacating stuff.

Give the NCAA some wiggle room so they feel like they are a tad tougher on you than you are on yourself.

Seems our athletic staff has been consumed with a lot more than the APC.
I'm not smart enough to figure out who they are.

Ginny Crager according to Intellus may be a USM alum. Wonder if any stank headed their way?

If Coach Hud knew about it or tried to cover it up after the fact, then the university would be punished for sanctioning the rule-breaking or hindering the investigation.

If Coach Hud didn't know it (which I'm assuming right now that he didn't), then the NCAA could come back and claim that he should have known what his coaching staff was doing as official representatives of the program and claim "Lack of Institutional Control" which warrants punishment. This depends in what rules are in place at the universities and how the rules are enforced by the compliance officials at the school.
