Yeah NIU did that during the BCS era when there were 8 spots to fill. Now with the CFP there are only four spots and one spot for the other 40+ G5 teams like us. Wake up people. With FCS call ups like GSU and App. State winning conference the SBC schedule will not get any credit as a respectable G5 team

    You know we would.
    Based upon what factors?

Different format Nation! And you know that, the rules have changed now for the FBS Championship Playoffs after they were granted separation. Again, based upon what factors?

Not quite the entire story. He also said (paraphrasing) that having been here he sees the great potential for this program if managed properly

Late 80's, but your post is accurate. But now that you answered the question, he has no reason to listen to the interview. I hope he does, because then he could make an informed opinion or statement at that point.

Now Hammer...you know that doesn't fit CajunRebel's seed planting technique. He is still trying to paint Hale as a bubba hire.

Only if the MWC or AAC champ has 2 or more losses.

Haha they are definitely passionate about this. That's cool, but you not gonna win a war with only fundamentalists and you not gonna grow your cause overacting to any question.

That makes sense...I bet many on this board have left money on the table by working here in Lafayette instead of Houston or Dallas or elsewhere just because of a love for the area.

I'll try to listen to the interview tonight.

Think about this for a second. Next year we could run the table and be 12-0 with victories over Tulane and Boise. But if we were Boise's and Tulane's only loss they would get in before we would. Due to SOS.

I don't wanna argue with you...or try to convince you...Hale will do that himself.
