With college football obviously moving towards four 16 team conferences, how do we position UL to be one of the final 64. What happens to the G5 schools over the next 5-10 years?

On the subject of Cox/ESPN issues; if the holdup is filtering out a few markets in California, as we have been told it is, are there ways that the University or RCAF could be proactive and help to overcome this hurdle, or is that something [as we have been told it is] strictly between the two networks?

Fire away T.......Love to hear hard $$$$ of lost direct revenue; and the all the other indirect ways it co$t UL......especially true for conference realignment. Try to get hard $$$ estimates on all these areas. CUSA is all about market exposure (see FxU); quality product not needed. Cox was making us a premier showcase team in 14 states, mostly in SE. ALL the states in the current CUSA footprint.

With all the hundreds of hours of live broadcasting plus replays.......I really wanted to see our smaller version of the Longhorn Network Cox was offering. thousands of hours of UL programming/UL propaganda messages during the telecasts.....all gone do to one "error in judgment".

It is true.....I don't care much for our AD. Dead weight, he needs to be called out for the liability he truly is to UL.

T, ask Mr. Hale just how important is it that we strongly establish 'Louisiana' , 'Ragin Cajuns' and/or 'Louisiana Ragin Cajuns' as our sole brand for athletics in every possible venue, and how important is it that we market that brand vigorously.

Along those lines how harmful is it when ESPN continually brands us "Lafayette" and uses the Lafayette College Leopards logo in place of ours?
