I have no problems giving someone a second chance that has shown some remorse for their poor decisions and has paid the price. I've spoken to Jeryl and he assured me all that is behind him. At this point, he has the opportunity to prove he is going to be a positive contributor to the program.

I don't like the idea of picking up A&Mbr gangstas. We don't need all the negativity surrounding our program. We need to let less miles poor character recruits stay in refineryville

People deserve second chances, especially when they are committed to making a change for the better. I would assume you have either friends or family who have done well in their lives after being given a second chance for making a mistake and this young man deserves the opportunity to do so if he is committed to it. If he can help our program out at the same time, that's even better.
