While listening to the HS football score updates on the radio tonight they mentioned Lorenzo Phillips has decommtied from University of Florida and wants to go on more visits to other schools. When asked how many and where he said 4 more visits and UL was his first one along with 3 big schools. Does anyone have info on this?

Lorenzo is going to visit LSU,UL, Alabama and Houston. If LSU offers, I would be surprised if he doesn't commit.

What I like is that it is far more than a local or just Louisiana thing------Caj-T and Jo-Bo communicate with all the names very often from many different states and if you think recruiting was interesting before---get into our Nite Chats-----Can you imagine about 15-30 recruiting coordinators telling the staff whom to take---A lot of fun and of course nobody has updates like this ---well unless the Parrot comes back (just kidding)---The more the merrier!!!!!

Phillips is one of the highest rated LB's in the nation. He would likely be the most touted prospect to ever commit to UL if he were to do so. I don't see LSU passing him up.

I absolutley agree. And after doing a little research, LSU already has 4 LB's committed. It would be nice to land this cat. Isn't there another LB from Patterson that has an offer from us as well?

Yes it is. Even though we didn't get him out of high school, Broadway was a legit 4 star coming out.
Btw, what is in the water down in Patterson? For being such a small school, they always seem to put out big time prospects year after year.

It would be nice if the Patterson LB's don't commit on their visit to Houston. Then at least we would have a chance to bring him in on November 5th for the ULM game.
