I was coming here to ask if this player will really make any difference if he us coached to play our soft coverage scheme but you've already done it in a much more colorful way.

I have no problems giving someone a second chance that has shown some remorse for their poor decisions and has paid the price. I've spoken to Jeryl and he assured me all that is behind him. At this point, he has the opportunity to prove he is going to be a positive contributor to the program.

Agreed. Very tight leash. I do think that kids deserve a second and maybe third or fourth chance. We dont want to cut them loose when we might be able to have an impact on the type of adults they become. What better place than in a team sport.

I agree, my interaction with him gave me the same impression.

Hud has shown he knows how to handle risky pickups like this. He gives them their chance, and if they don't tow the line he cuts them loose. I'm not worried a bit.

Who in the hell will catch him in the open field?.......he can turn over steps faster than any one on the field. Stays off the line 5-6 yards and still recover to get any receiver underneath. Anyone going deep he is with them ever step.....go get him Hud..........
