Then he should not be on the team. You cannot build your team around a knucklehead who may decide that getting stoned is more important than leading his team.

Maybe you are right, but that is Hud decision not ours. If Coach Hud thinks he served his punishment and can lead our team then so be it.

I'm not so worried about the offense as the defense. Here's how I view next year.

    OFFENSE
    WR Jared Johnson
WR Jamal Robinson (he gets another yr)
    WR C.J. Bates
TE Matt Barnes (Rotate Nick Byrne)
    OL Adrian Goodacre
    OL Jesse Freeman
    OL Octravian Anderson
    OL Donovan Williams
    OL Mychael Quave
    QB Brooks Haack
    RB Elijah "The Prophet" McGuire
    RB Effrem "The Patriarch" Reed

    DEFENSE
    DL Remaine Douglas
    DL Jacoby Briscoe
DL Chris Prater (Rotate in Darrien Bastite)
    LB Dominique Tovell
    LB Tyren Alexander
    LB Kevin Fourqier
    LB Darzil Washington
    CB Jevante Watson
    CB Travis Crawford
    S Tracy Walker
    S T.J. Worthy

    P/K Aaron Bird
    PK Carlos Alvarez
    PR Devin Scott
    KR Montrel Carter

3-4 Defensive front sending Washington and Tovell off the edge. Fourqier and Alexander will cover the middle.

Left out transfers & academic casualty starter that will likely be eligible on defense.........
    1) Arkansas 4 star LB Otha Peters
    2) LSU 4 star CB Brazil
    3) LSU 3 star CB Holmes
    4) 2013 CB 3 star starter Simeon Thomas (using red-shirt this year)

Defense will be better next year, TJ posey,Otha peters, trey granier, toboris lee, ladarius Kidd, marquis white, Brazil, Holmes, Thomas, are all guys that will contribute heavily that you left off. I'm pretty sure Stevie artigue will win the kicking jump from jump. We need to figure out the QB and replacing quave and Johnson on OL. One of the freshman hopefully can step in as alonzo replacement. Leadership will be the toughest thing to replace, talent is there.

It is not bathe did it. It is the fact that in order to receive a NCAA suspension you must have been caught more than once.

Would you mind if an old timer named Hud decided to stay on his high horse and "weeded out"... pun intended... whoever he chooses? Whichever QB can "light it up... while taking the least hits" is probably going to be the winner.

Well done sir! lol Personally, I want to see Haack (or whoever can hit open receivers, make reads and go through progressions) play. I just know that many many more than Nixon chief it up… He just so happened to get caught. Kids will be kids… Personally I have less respect for those getting caught stealing, raping, fighting, or doing partaking in just about any other illegal activity than I do for those getting off to a few highs… but I guess that's just my personal preference and we're all allowed to have opinions...
