I don't think any school is required to sell more than about 8k tickets.

You arent required to sell 1 ticket... I could be wrong but I thought I remembered our expense being around 300k for the week.

You're right but schools must sell their allotment if they want 100% of bowl payouts?

    Yes

There has been zero effort this year to promote UL outside of Lafayette city limits.

Time to cash in in the efforts of the past year.

BCS bowls are typically in the 17-20K range to get the advertised payout. Most other bowls are in the 10-12k range.

UL Ticket sales in prior years for New Orleans Bowl.

•2011 vs. San Diego State — 18,800 tickets
    •2012 vs. East Carolina — 23,000 tickets
    •2013 vs. Tulane — 21,000 tickets

Those are incredible numbers for any school at any level for three years in a row. 12-15K this year in "real" ticket sales still puts us in a much better position than many schools.

The ticket drive for softball should have waited till the day before the bowl.

Right now its creating divided support messages.

Well one good thing about not selling +24K tickets and just getting the minimum to cover, we net almost as much, Karl and the rest will not be liberating our funds to split.
