I'd rather play the best available opponent with a tie in to the new Orleans bowl and that just might be Fresno.

The crowd for our bowl game will be higher than any game at Cajun field this season, so it won't be a small crowd in my book.

The most common theme is us vs. Fresno State in NOLA. I would like this match up! If you remember there was a ton of ____ talking between our fan bases last year during that "best new uniform" contest.

Any west coast team that comes to New Orleans will think they are playing at 8:00AM! HaHaHa!

Keep in mind, this would be a 6-7 Fresno State team, after they beat Hawaii and lose to Boise State. By the way, Boise is now the top G5 team in the College Playoff ranking, which means they go to access bowl if this holds up. Fresno would have the worst record in the Mountain West Conference, which should guarantee them the lowest ranked bowl tie-in for the conference. Guess which one that is?

Just like our season is diappointing to some of us, so will the turnout to the New Orleans bowl. Let's get another team 1500-2000 miles away so they can bring 1500 fans, sounds like a smart thing to do. Fresno is not the team it used to be don't fool yourself.

What's a better matchup? MWC is contracted this year with SBC in NOLA.
