I second that. San Marcos is a fun town. The Gruene Music hall is pretty sweet… Ziggy Marley either recently played there, or will soon… I know A&M is in the SEC and all, but I'd much rather be in San Marcos then Bryan/College Station...
But, do not bring your wives or girlfriends with you to San Marcos. They have the biggest outlet mall I've EVER seen. If mama comes with you, leave the credit card at home.
If you're into different cuisine, check out New Braunfels. Heavy German influence and several really good German restaurants.
The definition of smack talk does not include "I love your mall"

That is one of the longest bus rides of my life. Back when I played for Nicholls State we took busses to Texas State when they were still in the Southland conference. We came away with a win that night!!
was a cold night though.. Texas State has come a long way since then. Their facilities were terrible. We dressed out in what felt like a restroom. It sucked.
When Jay started his post with…"But, do not bring your wives or girlfriends with you to San Marcos.", I wasn't sure where he was going with this.
I understand Jay is a moral and upstanding guy and was probably not going here, but TX State has more than 35,000 students, of which more than half are women and most of these women are very, very attractive…with fine attributes of the female persuasion, you know the women from between Austin and San Antonio who maybe were not in the top 10% of their class to get into UT.
Oh, yea, not to change the subject, the outlet mall is ridicules. Been there several, several times with my Ms. Open up your wallet.
A bunch of us are going to the game. Looking forward to it. Go Cajuns!
