Tech has been a dreadful team and in a bad conference. We have nothing to gain and every thing to lose playing our little brothers. They aren't even going to bring a good sized crowd. We've already played one 1-AA team. Why one just above them? We donated to charity last year playing Tulane.

We are all the younger brothers of NWST, the first university of the ULS. Now LTU@r has a typical middle child syndrome, and of course we are the BIG brother but younger than both. We have some half brothers, McNeese, and Nicholls, SLU but they are from a different mom, and think we should honor her by being in their homes.

LTU@r may as well get used to the fact they are not first, and are not biggest, and soon will not be highest accredited.

Ah, our most famous alum is not Richard, but he is loved by millions no doubt. Miss USA Ali Landry is pretty famous, Judith Ford Miss America is pretty famous, but then Lil Abner is yours, and he brags he went to LTU@r instead of LSU because of grades, and for a fact when he was eligible any high school kid with a degree and a dollar could go to LSU. How bad were his grades? I mean this is LTU@r comparable to Stanford in academics and sports, come on man how did he get in?

Yea, but Akron and Kent State are willing to play you whenever it fits, and TooLAME and LTU@r avoid playing UL like the ebola plague.

These guys are delusional. They have a thread on BBB claiming this is our Superbowl. One of the reasons listed is because they got 3 of the top 50 Louisiana players last year. I just looked, we beat these jokers the last 3 years in the overall recruiting rankings, and are ahead again this year. Since we have been to and won three bowls in a row, and they can't even manage to accept one when offered and went 4-8 last year, I imagine THIS is THEIR superbowl. Or as close to a bowl game as they are going to get for the foreseeable future.

Aside from the obvious its because he's not putting out any effort for some new material. Its the same old lame smack that every hater brings.

This is tongue in cheek for us. The fact remains that Tech is a good athletic playing partner for us, and we are a good playing partner for them. Just because a bunch of nutsacks on BB&B love to stroke each other with the delusions of Tech greatness, does not mean that we should take the same attitude and pretend we shouldn't restore the rivalry.

I love the smack talk. I just don't want anyone to think we are converging on something logical with it. We are just verbally destroying each other leading up to a contest.

I am massively confident we are a better football program right now. And for Tech, that is massive. They cut off their left nut to build up their football program. All we did is wake up. And we are already ahead of them. And this weekend will prove it. It will be a battle royale. They don't want to lose this game. I believe we are way too talented to let this one slip through our currently very powerful football grip.

In terms of the game, it is great for the fans. Wins/Losses will happen but I think LaTech and Tulane should be on the schedule every year. I would like to see us renew this rivalry and play our first game every year against Tech. Start the year off right. First game of every year, Louisiana vs Tech. I wouldn't even be opposed to a neutral site game. Shreveport or New Orleans Labor day weekend. Hell move to the Monday afternoon game for Labor day. Get a better opportunity to more eyes on tv. Give a platform.
I know there is a healthy hate between schools and fanbases, but my opinion is both fan bases would rather not take the L, talk ____ from a distance, and everyone not really know who is the better team that year, and not have to listen to ____ talkers the rest of the year. I on the other hand would love to have this feeling of game week every year. The build up has been great. Saturday come on! Geaux Cajuns.
