----Well there is NOTHING that I trust at LTUR---recruiting 5th graders now!!! LOL Sorry but I don't fall for the huge talent difference or the coaching or the emotional aspects that have been going on---With that said I sure do hope we win!!! I was part of a 45-0 loss and some great other games won by the Cajuns!!!
IMO - and it's not very humble, we have a talented enough roster, especially on offense IF he would of committed to running the offense Dykes and Franklin ran we would have been better than 4-8 against a pansy schedule - but alas Ole Skippy likes ball control and the games to be in the 30's
Unfortunately his ball control could only average about 19 pts per game
If I were y'all I would run the option against us until we prove we can stop it - couldn't against Army and couldn't against Rice
Sorry Dwayne,
We don't want to hear all the belly aching from the Tech fans! You guys certainly wouldn't let us use any excuses when you guys were beating up on our Cajun teams while our program was in the dumps! NO EXCUSES, just play the game with whatever bullets you have in your gun!!!
Sorry you can't make it for the beat down.
All that said - I sure hope he surprises me Saturday and we make a game of it down there Saturday night and some how pull out a W
You know Dwayne poor mouthing by a coach is one thing, poor mouthing by fans is a whole other thing. No, no, I expect the pups will give us a whole lot of problems. Dwayne is setting us up for gloating with an upset win, or saying I told you so with the expected loss.
Dwayne....We have our share of delusional fans, not quite the level I see on BB&B, but I know, the Bulldogs will give us all they have. I can't say that we have better talent because I haven't seen many Tech games. I did see most of that horrible excuse of a game when Toolame played at JA last year! Both teams looked bad, but Toolame gave us all we wanted in the bowl game. I don't think there will be much difference in talent, though we do have a few special players that could make things difficult for Skip's boys. I played for the Cajuns in the mid 70's and know how competitive this game will be. I'm expecting a very physical, well played game from both sides. We should have beat ULM last year, but they got a couple of lucky breaks on two poorly thrown balls, and momentum went to them. After that, it was a dogfight to the end. This will be a good test for us, because we are supposedly loaded and have been picked to have a special year. That's a lot of pressure for a team that's not use to this kind of pressure. If we play a solid game, I will be surprised if we don't win. That's about as far as I'll go on a "prediction".
Sorry if you don't get the warmest of welcomes, Dwayne. One of your clan has lived on our site for some time now... aggravating us with his silliness. If someone on here doesn't realize you're a class act, just messing with us... sorry in advance.
You're alright......good to see. Maybe its better if you do cover. Keeping Skippy at tech is in our best interest. Need to edit my score prediction
Tech fans will see first hand that well attended local rivalry games are big $$$ pay days. Low cost travel for fans and team that isthe visitor. All our ____sing contest (includes mine too) and that hunger to win is very good & smart business.
Dwayne, I'm going back to school and major in psychology so I can move to Minden and make a mint off you. LOL! . I KNOW that skippy is making you visit a shrink twice a week. LOL!!! Just hang in there.
Remember, too, suicide is a sin so don't let the anxiety of the upcoming thrashing get you down. You can call one of us if you need to talk....a counselor is available 24/7. Be advised the same offer is not open to your delusional brethren who live in the past and brag about yesterday's news. Boxer, for one, needs to understand that a train is coming down the track and its engineer is named HUD!
And the best part is his daddy isn't a famous former coach, which can be the kiss of redneck death.
