Apparently it is our fault because of something said by our head coach at a private boosters club meeting. Something that probably shouldn't have been printed. The writer blew it out of proportion, ULM ran with it and suckered (again) the Cajuns into buying into their hatred of Louisiana Tech.
The truth, or at least what I believe to be true, is that Tech and the Cajuns are both excellent schools whose growth and good academic and athletic programs have been stymied by Louisiana politics. It is actually amazing that both schools have made the progress they have. It is painful, at least it is to me, when decisions are made and actions are taken that may help a short term problem but hinders long term growth and standing that both schools have earned.

Some of it gets ridiculous, everywhere you look. I do not like personal attacks, ridiculous and unsubstantiated assertions and claims, or attacks on people's homes, whether ours, yours, or theirs. Most folks are just trying to do the best we can in a world that makes less and less sense.
