Unfortunately for the Cajuns, Alabama also blew a big lead to Tennessee. Alabama led Tennessee 8-2 going to the B8th and gave up six runs. After plating a run in the 9th to lead 9-8, Alabama then yielded the game winner before they could record the second out in the B9th.

Well that definitely blows.

I believe we still have a chance for a national seed. We can only afford a couple more losses and will likely need to win the conference tourney. Winning this weekend and being ranked #1 in all the polls would of done us some good.

The sky is not falling, it's just disappointing to lose they way we did. We really gave that one away and it's certainly going to cost us at some point. We're a really, really good team but we are far from perfect. Back to work on Tuesday.
