Seems like Robe is more concerned with working his bullpen than the national seed. Either way, the bullpen has just about taken the national seed out of the equation between the uno game and today. The hitters seemed to be going through the motions today too so it can't ALL be pinned on the bullpen.

Unfortunately for the Cajuns, Alabama also blew a big lead to Tennessee. Alabama led Tennessee 8-2 going to the B8th and gave up six runs. After plating a run in the 9th to lead 9-8, Alabama then yielded the game winner before they could record the second out in the B9th.

Robe threw our best guys out of the pen. They just didn't get it done. Anybody ever watch baseball? Sometimes the best of the best don't get it done...it happens. This team is 36-5. In 41 games, the bullpen has blown the game twice. That is amazing. Most college teams have 1, 2, MAYBE 3 dependable arms in the pen. This team has 6 or 7. It happens. Relax.

I believe we still have a chance for a national seed. We can only afford a couple more losses and will likely need to win the conference tourney. Winning this weekend and being ranked #1 in all the polls would of done us some good.

The sky is not falling, it's just disappointing to lose they way we did. We really gave that one away and it's certainly going to cost us at some point. We're a really, really good team but we are far from perfect. Back to work on Tuesday.
