After reading all of the posts about Robe's "poor" coaching decisions, I would expect all of you to be at Scott Farmer's office in the morning asking for Robe's job.

As I said during football season: Winning brings higher and higher expectations. Losing is like your favorite dog dying...

My biggest concern is that this loss against the worst team on oir schedule with a what 200+ RPI? Does this stick a fork in our chances at a top-8 national seed?

At least you know for a fact he gets the run in and you move the runner over to 3rd for Compton with less than 2 away. Then there's also the possibility of Butler being safe at first and/or Conrad scoring on the bunt like we do sometimes. I just don't see how you allow Butler to swing away in that situation with the way his game was going all night.
I was thinking the same thing.

----man I totally agree----I don't know if he misjudged, misplayed, or tipped it with his glove ---but they certainly were very catchable balls---both would have seemed to have been nice plays as they were a pretty far piece away and he was running hard---On a run like that your body can bounce as you run (hated that and was told to run on your toes) but it is a crazy sight that all outfielders have seen!!! But as you mentioned clearly one of the big differences of the game as in chasing down the ball many extra basses were had by UNO!!!

Let us clear the air here. Or at least from my perspective.

When I'm on this message board and I'm just venting what my thoughts were during the game and in big situations…. it doesn't mean I'm "questioning Robe's coaching decisions". I'm just posting my thoughts on the game. Not calling for anyone's head. I am probably one of Robe's biggest fans, I HAVE ZERO NEGATIVE THINGS TO EVER SAY ABOUT THE MAN.

Message boards are for posting your thoughts. No one is out picketing in front of his office with what they think the lineup should look like. It's the internet.

----When the RPI Police finish tonight I don't think we will be happy campers and we might not host now!!! I hope we didn't screw it up too much!!!

That's what I was wondering too. Based on what I understood (which isn't saying much BTW), we could basically only lose 1 or maybe 2 more and get in the top 8. That maybe could change if say WKU or stAte or someone else we have play and beat the thrice end up in top 50 RPI unexpectedly...

But I'm scared this loss may have serious implications down the road

Warrennolan has our RPI at 12 after the loss, it was 6 before tonight.
