UL on baseball hats - serious question

Maybe it's just me, but I think those hats are awesome. Not sure why the hate for them. I think we definitely still have to have our UL hats as normal, but these FDL hats as an alternate are really sharp looking.

I don't mind them as an alternate. The interlocking UL just screams baseball to me I guess.

Prior to the SBC coming out with their desired naming list, from an athletics standpoint, there were no restrictions. Louisiana on jerseys, UL only on hats, etc. Then the release came out and we all know what happened then. It's my understanding the release is no longer in place. So the question is, does the university still have to abide by what was in the release or can the university revert back (prior to the release).

The SBC Guideline didnt have any affect on what a school calls itself, only what others in the conference should use for each school. It was completely rescinded anyway.

I have one of the fitted TPX hats from the store at the Tigue and the Lafayette is stitched in the same color as the hat and its on the side. You can't really see it unless you're close.

Also, I really like the FDL hats, but I'd agree to keep the UL hat as the main one.

The newer off white (almost cream colored) jerseys are the best we've got. Period.
