The Name Issue discussed on WWL today

Constantly making an issue of our name has reached the point of absurdity, as well as embarrassment. The casual fan in Louisiana, outside of Acadiana, is an LSU fan. We simply do not have the needed statewide support to win the name issue battle. If what happened at the ULM game didn't open your eyes as to just how hopeless a cause the name issue is, then nothing will.

For every example that you can give me of us being referred to as Louisiana, I can give you ten of us being referred to as UL-Lafayette, but so what? This has nothing to do with whether or not I continue to support UL. That is the point I was trying to make.
