UL to convert 2 lanes of St Mary Blvd into bike lanes

U.S. Senator Mary L. Landrieu, announced a $450,000 U.S. Department of Transportation grant to extend a bikeway on the University of Louisiana campus. The project will extend an existing bikeway by an additional 1,500 feet, adding one mile of shared-lane marking and a bridge over a drainage canal.

I sure wish they would name the bike path the Mickey Shunick Memorial Bike Path.
