Forcing 3 three-and-outs to start the game while allowing the offense to go up 28-7 was THE metric of the game.

I was including the time we're on offense.

I don't have to think about the stAte game or the NT game... and you can't make me!

or the Ok. state game or the WKU game or even the Troy game. Even though we won 2 out of 3 there, its hard to consistently win giving up numbers like we did in those games.

What are the thoughts of my fellow raginpagin members?

Should Hud replace Jay Johnson as DC before next season? Our defense has 2-3 NFL prospects and has been very bad the last two years. I am no expert but in my opinion this means that there is something wrong with the scheme. I have called BOP and asked him this question and he blamed it on injuries.

In my opinion we need a new defensive coordinator.

    What do you guys think?

Jay Johnson is our OC, so no, I don't want to replace him as DC.

    Thanks smart a**.

Sorry, I posted after a few too many christmas eve egg nogs.

I think that everyone understands my question: Doyou feel that UL should replace the defensive coordinator (Greg Stewart) before next season?

Greg Stewart's weakness (if you want to call it that) is that he is slow to make adjustments.

He KNOWS defense and how to come up with a great game plan. You don't coach "6" shutout first quarters on a season otherwise.

However Coach Stewart is slow to admit when the other offense has adjusted to his defense. . . and to adjust himself

    Good observation Turbine.
    I can agree with this.

So should he be our DC in 2013?

Remember, Arkansas state drove 60 yards into the endzone running the same play over and ovrr again.
