Tech=no bowl

I do feel for the Middle fans. They were, with very few exceptions, a very good bunch of guys. They had built up a good relationship with many Cajun fans. While I hadn't had the chance to make the trip I understand they were very gracious host and I found them to be appreciative guests when they visited The Eauxk.

At the same time good for the goathumpers. Hope they make the trip and represent their school and the Conference.

I feel the same Tony.. MT has Great, great, guys...But, No way you can give the bowl to them, when WKU is still Sunbelt.. Doesnt mean its right, but it is a reality..

How did they get screwed out of a bowl? I guess this is why it's important to have multiple bowl tie-ins for your conference. They are still in my doghouse, but they deserved to go

Maybe they can play Tech in the "Bayou-self" bowl.

This is a really messed up situation. This was Techs best season since they went Division 1 in '89. As an Alum & fan I'm beyond ____ed that the decision makers could let this happen. I feel horrible for the players most of all.

I have often said NEVER turn down a bowl, but when your admins did I was sure it because you had something else locked up.

and to think, ltu helped niu to become a bcs bowl team so many years back by making sure we did not get a logical bid.

This is what i was thinking. LT wanted separation and forced the indy bowl to invite a mediocre NIU instead of a deserving UL who would have brought a ton of fans to the game. NIU with extra practice and confidence gained from the bowl appearance won the MAC 2 years in a row and landed a rich BCS bowl. They should send flowers to Tech for their help. Karma can be wicked and still serve poetic justice.

Dont screw with me son.. I mentioned more than once how cordial you guys were..I was genuine in my sentiment.. I know Choudawg and DFM and they are quality guys.. I feel bad for them.. I feel bad for you.. I really do... But, to spit in the face of the I Bowl because you didnt want to face ULM screams arrogance in the worst effing way! The audacity of that pr*ck van de Velde to hold your players hostage is beyond me... You shouldnt even be here right now.. You should be in Ruston at the ADs office waiting to punch this _____ in the face... HE, not us, not ULM...HE screwed you guys... In the end there is 0 difference between your school and ours..
