I agree with Tech's decision not to go to the independence bowl. I support their standing on their principles despite their misfortune. I hope that they continue to stand their ground and turn down bowl game opportunities especially in years that UL is bowl eligible.

Dude, as long as Cajun fans continue to turn out in force at the NO Bowl, or any other Bowl game we get in the future. Most other non-AQ schools, including Tech, will have to wait until the Cajuns accept their Bowl offer before anythin else if offered to them. The Cajuns will be the team in demand.

I say it is time to move on --away from the conference talk and away from the TECH Bowl fiasco except for one very important thing-----We use this Tech Bowl screw up to its greatest amount of force in our recruiting---Coaches should go out and just bash the hell out of a school that is so deeply rooted in arrogance, selfishness, and stupidity that they place the half ___ goals and politics of the institution ahead of the athletes and coaches ---in particularly the Senior players who had led this team to 9 wins (although they didn't beat anybody worth a damn that had a winning record LOL)-----Man when they get the Tulanes, S Misses, Monroes, Houstons, Rices, Cajuns all selling this same fact---kids start to get the picture--ANTI TECH facts against TECH SPIN (LIES)!!
