Who would you rather see the Cajuns play in the New Orleans Bowl?

I booked my room at the W today and will be in attendance decked out in red no matter who we play.

Tech doesn't want to play us in a bowl game and honestly we don't want to play them in the New Orleans Bowl. The New Orleans Bowl is all about us recruiting the greater New Orleans area - we don't want to help Tech with that. I would like to play Rice, because they will bring more fans than SDSU or SMU because June Jones will make it fun!

I just want a W. With an 11 am kickoff it could be a long day in the quarter after a loss. On the flip side, it will be one hell of a party after a Cajun victory

These are the choices I have on the poll on my website www.thedailysportsbuzz.com

UCF (C-USA)
East Carolina (C-USA)
Tulsa (C-USA)
SMU (C-USA)
Rice (C-USA)
San Jose St. (WAC)
Louisiana Tech (WAC)

I have these choices because the New Orleans Bowl technically has the 6th C-USA tie in, and they only have 5 bowl teams,
and the WAC only has 1 bowl tie in and 3 bowl teams.

Other than the Liberty Bowl (which has the first selection of CUSA teams), there is no pecking order among the CUSA bowl tie-ins.

CUSA also has an agreement with the Military Bowl as a backup should the ACC or Army not be able to supply a bowl eligible team. Well, Army is not eligible. Thus, this is a seventh bowl for CUSA (with five eligible teams).

Rice. Beating a WAC school does nothing for us, and I see no reason to want to play a top tier CUSA school. I want a win; the only thing that anyone will remember is that we won or lost. Unless it is a top tier team from a power conference, I want the little sisters of the poor to play us.

1. They will bring 3k-7k fans, which could go a long way towards breaking the attendance record AGAIN
2. We would be favored to win the game
