    Nola.com reports CUSA off ice says it will be ECU or Rice depending on outcome of CsA championship game.

    I think Rice vs UL brings the most fans because of geographic location.

    Rice played Troy in the New Orleans Bowl a few years back in front of 26,000. Not sure how many of those were from Rice.

    ECU is averaging around 47k attendance this year. That and their 8-5 record (assumes CUSA championship loss) would likely bring more fans, than Rice at 6-6.

    They're not in the CUSA championship. It's Tulsa and UCF. If Tulsa wins, we play ECU. If UCF wins, we play Rice.

    But yes, they have very good attendance. One of the tops of all mid majors.

    I think ECU's fanbase would travel much better than Rice's which would negate the travel distance difference. I also think that ECU would be a better game and better atmosphere. I'd rather play ECU.
