The link above talks about how players on opposing teams are probably beginning to rip off opponents' helmets during games so they have to sit out a play.

I wouldn't put it past the Troy players to do this. Incidentally, Hamilton comes to McCray's defense when the Troy guy does it, Hamilton gets ejected.

Robe didn't ignore it when he had to sit out for being tossed from a game.

If you recall he got ejected from the second game at the tourney in San Marcos. He coached the next game (ignored the rule) of the tourney, and then he coached the midweek game (ignored the rule again) against Southeastern. He got a warning or reprimand letter of some kind from the conference on Thursday and THEN sat out Friday night game of our weekend series with Towson.

That is what I meant by he ignored the rule. I thought the was making a statement to his objection to the absurd rule. I liked his point.

Just guessing we will see the same rotation of d line minus Hamilton. Prob see a lot more of fields and either McCray or Ringo moving to nose tackle. But losing your best linemen hurts when you face the best rushing attack you'll see all season. This is a huge blow for us.

Hamilton will surely be missed. I really like him and I am excited about his future with the Cajuns.

Time for the other guys to step up. Getting Fields and D. Jones some more playing time this week will help too. Can't wait to see all these guys healthy and playing full speed in one game.
