The more I think about it, the more it ____es me off. The conference is handcuffing their own. We have a chance to go out and beat a team that was national championship contender last year. Just points away from being in the title game. The conference could make BOLD national headlines two weeks in a row, but they are making it more difficult for that to happen.

The 'conference' imposed penalty, would certainly make more sense if it were applied to conference games only.

That is a good point Jumbo. However, I wouldn't push that too much. I know it is a big loss but I would rather him be gone this week than the 29th.

I like Robe's approach. He adamantly disagrees with this conference rule, so he just flat-out ignored until the conference started sending dirty letters.

However, It's more important that we have Hamilton against FIU.

Robe didn't ignore it when he had to sit out for being tossed from a game.

Well After play had stopped, Hamilton pushed a player to the ground. Then it got heated, verbally, and he was ejected. Yes they should review the film and take what action is warranted by this on anyone else involved. They should also review game complaints by coaches for referee training. The always catch the retaliator and not the instigator. This should be taken care of after film review by the conference. MTC

I may severely dislike what this young man said. But, being that it occurred following a "physical altercation", I believe this was an impulse reaction by the referee and should not have resulted in an ejection. Being that it did, under the circumstances, the suspension should have been lifted. I don't think ejections/suspensions should be handed out easily. It seems strange that a flagrant late hit results in a yardage penalty... but foul language gets you an ejection. That is simply poor use of the available punitive options.

Well I heard the ref was a Roger Goodell wannabe, he heard a player was handing out Hamilton's and decided way in advance to boot the bounty player if he even looked sideways at him.
