If they take N texas FIU SBC needs to try to get UTSA UTA Tx State or some decent comparable schools to replace them

Just like they did from 2001-2004 in the WAC with Rice, SMU, Tulsa, and UTEP. Only now it will be with Rice, Tulsa, Tulane, and Southern Miss.
And how did that work out? Not very well for the better part of 11 years. The high school players, rightly so, believed Tech was a superior football program in a superior conference. Recruits are starting to listen to us more, not because of what Tech is doing, but because of Hud. This good recruiting vibe will remain as long as the RCAF is in place and securing funding to build facilities and hire the right people.-We have used/try to use the WAC and its distance against them for years and now they would be HERE
Our future will not be denied by who Tech plays or where they play them. It can only be denied by this fanbase giving up.
Get ready cause it is going to happen, and I don't give a rats patooty about that.-------More TV and more money-----When you hear a negative from somebody it can be effective---When you hear it from 5-6 people it becomes very effective----It is just the way it is and I can only hope it doesn't happen!!!!
All we have to do to counter this negativity is direct these recruits to the glass case which will contain all of our New Orleans Bowl trophys and our SBC championship trophys and the wall with all of the former Cajuns currently in the NFL, and give them the grand tour of our newly remodeled Cajun Field.
That's how you combat this.
Keep your head down. Keep working like a dog. And throttle everyone in your path.
That's the Boise model. Soon to be known as the Louisiana model.
good to know El Paso is in the back yard.
Imagine all the i's and t's on that stadium renovation contract... i may never see it completed in my lifetime.. and i'm only 34
Gotta walk before you can run looks like we starting pretty well. Softball good AGAIN. Football looks like it is takin a good turn if we can keep Coach Hud. I think baseball will turn around. Don't know what to say about basketball.
Cajun Nation----I don't know but ---Have you ever recruited High School Kids???? Well it is a very difficult process and maybe as tough a selling situation that you can imagine-----The advantages that we now have diminish and do so rapidly----Again read over your post----The only thing that makes sense in regard to refuting my charges is that we will have to work like a dog---Unfortunately so will all the other schools with more tools to work with!!!!
I don't think it's as much about keeping coach Hud, as keeping T-Joe and Farmer. They've made the commitment to athletics, and none of us expects Hud to be around for very long anyway. I would love nothing more for the Hudspeth family to settle down here allowing for a long coaching career with the Cajuns, but realistically, I put my trust primarily in this new administration to maintain coaching talent.
can't exactly change coaches every other year and think we will find success so hopefully he will stay a while
